Building a new home so near to the water is not such a common event in Scandinavia, and often restricted to the small footprint of the original hut or house. The design of this home belies its relatively small floor area, cleverly using glass to ‘open out’ the living rooms and then reducing the bedrooms to minimal sizes. The outside spaces and the interior flow seamlessly in and out of each other, blurring the boundaries and walls of the structure.
